As an image editor, you can certainly get better. There is just something about playing around in a darkroom, though. I dont care if it is not iPhone5, which seems to be what most people are complaining about. It is just fun to use, and I would rather see it here as abandonware (which it doesnt really seem to be, just an update cycle of 15 to 20 months) than pulled off of the App Store.

Needs an update for the new iOS. Yet another app that does not work AT ALL with this update. And so many arent following up. Please update the app, its fun, when you can use it.

Im a huge fan fo the developer that makes this product but holy cow it does not work with iOS7 and any iPhone 5/iPod screen compatibility. Ouch. RIP Swankolab.

There are two chemicals in the set that dont work with iOS 7. Fix them. Also, the screen gets cut off in the menus and bars on the top and bottom.

Where is it? Am I the last person using this app?

Why is this app still for sale? The developer has long since abandoned it. It is not optimized for current iOS. Unfulfilled promises are made in the app. They are at least 2 years old. Cheap trick!

SwankoLab is a sweet little app, but Hipstamatic LLCs many trite promises of "more support coming soon!" all ring hollow. I was one of the suckers who bought the IAP for "all the updates" -- updates that have never once materialized, despite the many "coming soon!" labels dating back to 2012 in the app. Which is a shame, cause SwankoLab can produce some stunning effects, and deserved better than to be completely abandoned by its creators. Same goes for the purchasers of the app: We deserved better. But hey, theyve got a new way to wring some money from folks in oggl, so thats where their focus will be until they abandon THAT for the next get-rich-quick app they devise. 5-star app, less 4 stars for being actively ignored by a developer who is still willing to take your money for it. If the company ever gets their act together, this rating will be adjusted accordingly.

please fix the optimization and crashy bugs.

Out of all the editing apps I own, this one has by far the most unique interface. Though not without its shortcomings, I loved using it from time to time. Imagine my surprise after acquiring an iphone 5s that this app did not support its native resolution. Upon checking the updates I noticed this app hasnt been updated for over a year. It seems they are putting most of their resources into Oggl. Which is sad considering they have other apps which are good, but could be that much better with a little more lovin

This app needs an update. I paid for the extra chemicals but they crash the app.

Im a ver loyal hipstamatic user. I have all your apps and all the hipstamatic paks. You need to fix this app. I own uncle Stus subscription and yet I dont have access to all the chemicals that come with it. Furthermore, in all these years there had only been one uncle stu update. Also, please update for the iphone 5 screen! This app when from being fun to being extremely disappointing.

Its sad when a great app gets destroyed after a poor update. This app used to work wonders and was lots of fun. Granted, they never released any further packs but it was still my go to app to get my non-Hipstamatic images to look "hip." Now, some of the chemicals, when applied, make the image vanish, replacing it with a cartoon blank face. Hipsta-support says they have been aware of this problem (for the last year) but they cant find their way to get the developers to repair the problem. The real shame is that the Hip team isnt paying any attention to this damaged app and continues to sell it on the I-store without any support. So, although it was fun to mix up some chemicals, and use saved recipes its no longer possible. Darn shame. ****They really should remove this from the App Store if they are not going to support it.****

Swankolabs formulas are weak to say the least and uncle stus lab equipment doesnt make it much better. Just wasted $4 I urge you to not do the same. Update: I still feel the same way. There hasnt been any new quipment since I bought the app. Price should be dropped way down. This app is a dud on my phone for now. Update: I hate this company

Uncle Stu has been away a loooong time. I think hes probably dead. Last updated in 2012. Will any of their promised "coming soon" products will actually arrive? Im not holding my breath.

Team Hipstamatic show their true colors once again by over-promising and under-delivering on what should have been a killed darling of an app. The resources they wasted on this distraction might help explain why they had to fire their staff and desperately try to fire sale tired old in-app bundles to keep the lights on (hipsters dont like the dark). I bet with all the time they spend not updating their crAPPs they must spend grooming some real fancy mustaches...

At least two chemicals do not work at all, & Fantabra Magic Cool does not work correctly; it has all kinds of glitches. Im very disappointed... an update is badly needed, but I think that Synthetic has abandoned this app. I may just delete it.

Use to work, but right after I bought their vital chemicals, never worked anymore. Good Job guys.

Needs to be updated for iOS and iPhone 6. Time to update this app. Its been almost 3 years!! Update the app already. I bought the lifetime subscription hoping for some new "chemicals". I love Hipstamatic, now its time to show some attention to SwankoLab. An iPad version would be nice, too.
